| Our research is in the interdisciplinary field of heterogeneous catalysis, nanoscience, analytical chemistry, materials chemistry, and surface science. We focus on nanocatalysis crucial for efficient energy harvest and conversion, pollution control, and environmental remediation. The goal of our research projects is to develop efficient nanocatalysts using syntheses that build on operando studies of nanocatalysis using next-generation analytical techniques including in-house (using Al K¦Á) ambient pressure XPS and high pressure high temperature STM in group. Our research activity includes synthesis of nanocatalysts, measurement of catalytic performance and energy efficiency, and operando characterization under reaction conditions. | ||||
